Mahalo!
I’m an educational data scientist and learning research consultant at Pearson. I dig learning analytics, meta-science, bayesian statistics, and vegan cooking. I spend most days floating purposefully through the tidyverse — munging, modeling, and visualizing educational data with the goal of improving outcomes for all learners.
I’m also passionate about using data for good. Past projects include probing for inequities in educational outcomes, building machine-learning models to support better decision-making, and designing visualizations to aid efforts to improve diversity in the workforce.
